Project objectives
In implementation of its charitable principles and goals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Alwaleed Philanthropies has launched many programs to develop society, improve the lives of individuals, and serve citizens, including the developmental housing program that has been ongoing since 2003.
The programs provide housing units and special transportation for qualified men and women, and the number of beneficiaries is one million Saudi citizens over a period of ten years. The Foundation works closely with the concerned authorities in various regions to identify the families most in need and provide appropriate housing with basic services (electricity, water, mosques).
The development housing program covers all governorates of the Kingdom, with a focus on the most needy areas, in addition to taking into account the nature of the Saudi family structure, and the conditions of rapid development and societal movement in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
